With the end of 2015, Divorce Minister: Taking Adultery Seriously has officially completed its first full calendar year of existence.
It is odd to think this ministry is so new. Initially, I started this online ministry to share a few musings from my own personal experience with adultery, divorce, and the church’s response to such. I had not even planned on sharing it beyond my Facebook friends. However, it soon became apparent that God was calling me into deeper waters to open this ministry up to many more.
So, Divorce Minister was born on July 11, 2014.
While numbers are not everything (or even the most important thing, in my opinion), they do suggest that this ministry is stirring great interest from around the globe and having an impact.
This first full calendar year–2015–marks 125,000+ total views from a little over 45,000 unique individuals hailing from over 155 different countries!
I am constantly encouraged–and humbled–by those who visit here leaving messages to me (and Mrs. DM) as to how this ministry has made a real difference in their lives. It warms my heart to hear the testimonies of how God is using this blog to build up and care for His beloved children.
