Let them leave AND move on!

But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

-I Corinthians 7:15, KJV

Let the Cheater leave!

If a Cheater is literally hell-bent on denying Christ by their actions, let them. This is on them. I see this verse giving us, faithful spouses, the freedom to move on with our lives in such situations. We are no longer “bound” to them.

Trying to control someone hell-bent on adultery is a recipe for misery as we do not control someone else.

It hurts. Sure.

However, we must remember we are responsible for our own actions and not those of our spouses (see 2 Cor. 5:10).

Let them go. Stop wasting your energy over someone who is not worthy of your attention anymore. Instead, reinvest your energy in yourself so that you can move on to a more peaceful and fulfilling life! You are not bound.
