With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.
-Acts 5:2, NIV
Cheaters predictably provide incomplete confessions.
This is a major reason why it is so had for faithful spouses to heal as they are working with deliberately withheld information. Pieces in our history are missing and deliberately withheld by our abuser, the Cheater.
So, I am not surprised when I hear about a situation where MORE came out about a Cheater’s nefarious behavior.
That is how they roll. Sharing an actual full confession is the exception and not the rule of their behavior. Plenty of people who visit here and attest to that sad reality.
A wise individual dealing with Cheaters understands that they are dealing with a highly manipulative individual. They need to take their “confessions” with a healthy heap of skepticism as Cheaters have already demonstrated a pattern of lying in the past.
