Adultery is adultery.

“Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

-Exodus 20:14, KJV

Adultery is…

“voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his or her lawful spouse.”

-from dictionary.com

Cheaters are all about making up their own private definitions of adultery or cheating.

Those “definitions” exist to “excuse” inexcusable, sinful behavior.

A cheater might say such pathetic things like…

“It wasn’t adultery because we were living in different places at the time.”

“It wasn’t adultery because I had filed the divorce paperwork.”

“It wasn’t adultery because I practiced coitus interruptus.”

Figuring out whether or not an act was adultery is not all that difficult. You just need to answer two very simple questions:

1. Are you legally married?

2. Did you have sexual intercourse with someone who is not your legal spouse?

If you answer yes to both questions, you have committed adultery. The rest is just noise and lies you are telling yourself to avoid facing the cold hard fact of your sin.
