Do not loose sight of the real problem: The cheater’s lack of character!

Listen to this catchy new country song by Cam:

The temptation is to blame the other person involved with our cheater. It is easier to focus our rage at them as opposed to the real source of our hurt.

The cheater.

I love the lyrics in this song talking about blaming the Other Woman as opposed to the cheating husband who hid his marriage status (i.e. no gold wedding band).

Cam frames it as choosing to blame the Other Woman over choosing the truth–namely, the problem is the cheating husband (and his lack of character, of course).

Let’s be clear:

THE PROBLEM is the CHEATER. If it wasn’t one woman or one man, it would have been another.

Don’t loose sight of that for short-term relief from facing the pain that comes with recognizing you’re married to the problem.
