Peace comes with trusting God

You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.

-Isaiah 26:3, NKJV

Today, I am working on my Sunday’s message on “The Power of Peace.” I believe living in and releasing God’s peace is the most radical way we defeat the Enemy.

Yet I know it is easier said than done. It takes real faith in God. Sometimes my faith falters as I allow the Enemy convince me of the lies that I am on my own, and God will not help me with real threats.

Can you relate?

Isaiah 26:3 shows us the way to combat the forces of fear. It points us to a place where we focus on Him. As we keep our eyes on Perfect Love, we learn to trust and fear evaporates as the light fills the rooms of our hearts.

I know it is hard–especially if you’ve been disappointed and hurt by the church–to believe in God and trust Him. However, that is the spiritual path out of the darkness of fear and anxiety as I read the Bible.*

Will you try it today? Are you willing to flex those faith muscles and see if you can trust just a little more today?
