An adulterous woman consumes a man,
then wipes her mouth and says, “What’s wrong with that?”-Proverbs 30:20, NLT
I am convinced some cheaters have so blocked off parts of their lives that they genuinely believe the lies they tell to their partners.
They believe God is good with them.
Their dark other life–or lives–are split off from their real life. They do not touch in their thoughts. So, the people involved couldn’t possibly be hurt by the wicked overlap.
How sad is that?!
They are living a fantasy. In fact, they are living a lie. The saddest thing about this is how the world tries to frame affairs as living a “truth” when it is the very opposite of that.
