Flee Sexual Sin!

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

-I Corinthians 6:18, NIV

Flee sexual sin!

This is something not often taught upon when it comes to adultery, which qualifies as sexual immorality. The command to flee from this sort of sin has an explanation for this–namely, such sin wrongs our own bodies!

Cheaters are sinning against their own bodies.

The implications of this is such sin means Cheaters cannot escape consequences of such sin. Wherever they go, their body goes with them. And they have done something to that body to spiritually harm it.

Adultery is truly a serious sin.

Cheaters–or would-be cheaters–ought to be warned. They do not escape unscathed from committing such sin. Their bodies will be marked as this is what I see from this verse in I Corinthians 6. That is a good reason not to give into such temptation.
