Life gets better!
I remember having a conversation with a friend at a gym back in Connecticut before all the cheating madness. He was in his forties while I was in my twenties at the time.
In this conversation, he told me about how each decade of life gets better. Yes, things change but his experience of life was how those changes came with greater rewards as he aged. In particular, he talked about how he felt he learned how to live better each decade of life.
I feel like that has been true to my experience as well.
Now, I am roughly twenty years removed from that conversation, and I am grateful to be enjoying my forties. I am so glad I chose life over death when I went through my dark valley.
