Probably, the most spiritually deadly sin is arrogance. Cheaters are marked by oodles and oodles of pride and arrogance.
It takes quite a bit of arrogance to cheat on your spouse and still think you are the aggrieved party with a counselor or pastor. Yet, many cheaters have enough arrogance to get them to that place.
Such pride is why cheaters are unlikely to repent and change.
If you do not believe you have a problem, then you will not (actually cannot) fix it. You will not change.
In other words, they are too full of themselves to receive necessary correction about themselves. They have no room for such essential spiritual care.
Cheaters are wise in their own eyes.

So true. Not only they think they have every right to cheat but also every right to be the victim. They do not realize that the person they are cheating at the most is them self. So sad.It is like poisen has taken over them and they do not realise it because the poisen gives the illusion of strength and power. But sadly they do not know that one day they’ll have to face terrible consequences if they do not stop.To the victims please pray for them as they are heading to a terrible cliff that will bring to destruction . May God give so much protection, strength and wisdom for all who carry the pain of adultery. It is a hard journey to go through but Gods grace is so precious and He will guide you through. I have been through it and through Gods grace I have learned what His sacrifice truly means which He carried on the cross! It is salvation, mercy , love and forgiveness. Love in its perfectness. The pain we go through is nothing in compare to the pain on the cross that was done for us! Let us take comfort through this precious love given to us and that we may be thankful for seeing the truth and Gods grace upon us. As for the cheaters they first of all betrayed themselves. They left the person they ought to love and to be thankful in having such a blessing to have someone ready to share their lives with them . If they respond with betrayal, how much do they hate themselves? True life has left them as they have turned away from love through the blessing of their spouse and family. They are blind from Gods grace. Be blessed and take strength. May Gods grace always be with you🙏
