Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care… So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

This morning my family was greeted by this sight on our front porch. A flock of sparrows had discovered a pan left out in the rain, and they were going to have a “pool” party!
It was a delightful “pool” party. They really enjoyed this new found place to bathe. We were treated to the cuteness as we watched them delight in such a simple provision.
Sadly, the party came to an end when a red-tail hawk alighted on the tree in our front lawn. But it was fun while it lasted!
I am grateful for this moment.
What a beautiful reminder of our Father’s love and care for us!
God knows our needs. He provides for those needs just as He provided for those sparrows. Plus, sometimes His provision is extra-fun!
