Integrity is valuable.

Choose a good reputation over great riches;
    being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.

-Proverbs 22:1, NLT

When a spouse cheats, they destroy their reputation. They demonstrate a lack of integrity.

People learning of this reality is not the problem. It is the bad actions that are!

Many cheaters are upset about faithful spouses daring to tell the basic truth of what they did.

They want the good reputation that belongs to someone with integrity, which they do not have.

A good reputation is valuable. This is what faithful spouses have through having good character and integrity. It might seem like that initially; however, good character shows over time.

Cheaters have to keep the deception up to keep a good reputation.

Faithful spouses only have to let the truth shine forth for their good reputation to be seen.
